Sales Executive – Nashville, TN or Southeast
Our Southeast-based SaaS client is seeking a Sales Executive to kick off 2025 with their team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth through outbound and inbound sales efforts. You will work closely with our client’s marketing team to identify and engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and close deals. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with excellent communication skills, prior experience closing deals in complex settings with hospitals or medical offices and a proven track record of success in SaaS sales.
Our client is a growing software company whose mission is to build solutions that optimize the management of the hospitality industry. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, commission plan and benefit package. No visa situations for these opportunities.
Essential Functions
• Manage and conduct sales for health solutions across the full sales cycle - from exploration of customer needs to presentation and proposal of solution to negotiation and finally through deal closure.
• Meet or exceed annual sales quota and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level customers and key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
• Follow defined sales process, including the creation, maintenance, and logging of all activity in Hubspot.
• Conduct effective product demonstrations.
• Monitor customer preferences and needs; focus sales efforts accordingly.
• Develop and present marketing materials, other sales aides, and proposals to potential customers.
• Continuously learn about client products, success stories, and differentiators from our competitors to enable you to confidently pitch the health value proposition.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments to improve sales strategies and tactics.
• Represent company at trade association meetings/conferences to promote solutions.
• Collaborate with company’s product development, client services, and marketing teams to provide feedback and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings.
Knowledge and Skills
• Sales and Marketing
- Experience and proven success in selling enterprise SaaS solutions to complex organizations.
• Experience achieving or overachieving individual sales quota. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling SaaS solutions.
• This includes product demonstration and sales techniques; also helpful (but not required) to have knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics.

• Technology Skills – Experience with Google Suite Products or similar required, along with ability to learn, understand, and master other technologies, concepts, and technical tools used in the performance of the job as required by the company.
• Frequent sales calls in hospital or medical office settings.
• Ability to travel by car or air to customer sites.
What You Need
• BS/BA degree in business administration, sales and marketing or other relevant field required.
• Professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including ability to communicate and listen to/speak with customers by phone and in person a must.
• 5 years of proven sales experience of SaaS products in healthcare or health IT with confirmed ability to close deals and attain revenue targets .
• Frequent travel (up to 50%) required.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and notes in HubSpot.
