Position: Relationship Manager – North Alabama

Location: Huntsville, Decatur, Florence, AL

Our partner, a Christian non-profit, inspires generosity by helping families, advisors, and charities develop creative giving solutions. Since 1982, they have facilitated over $21 billion in grants to 90,000+ charities. In Alabama, they have supported over 1,000 families, distributing $500 million in grants since 2008.

Role Overview

Our partner, a Christian non-profit, is seeking a proactive and relational individual to expand their mission in North Alabama. This role focuses on engaging donors, developing new prospects, building strategic partnerships, and fostering a culture of generosity. If you have experience in relationship management, sales, or financial advising, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Donor Engagement (50%) : Inspire and guide donors to develop giving strategies, succession plans, and connections within the community.
  • Prospect Development (25%) : Build relationships with new donors and financial professionals, leveraging referrals and networking opportunities.
  • Strategic Partnerships (20%) : Cultivate connections with advisors (financial planners, accountants, attorneys) and organizations to enhance giving and impact.
  • Planning & Innovation (5%) : Collaborate on strategic initiatives to engage multi-generational families and prioritize growth in North Alabama.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to managing tasks and follow-ups.
  • Collaborative team player with a servant-leadership mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced certifications such as MBA, JD, CFA, CFP, or CPA are a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, business development, or financial advising.
  • Familiarity with high-net-worth donors and financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
