Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. You will manage the entire sales process—from acquiring clients and understanding their needs to working with recruiting placing top talent. You will work closely with clients, driving business development, and helping match their needs with the right talent. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a strong background in recruitment, business development, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT, Engineering, Finance, Healthcare, and Professional Services sectors.
- Develop and implement strategies to target potential clients and markets, building a strong pipeline of prospects.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met with top-quality talent.
- Manage the end-to-end process, from job order intake to candidate placement, ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and candidates.
- Present candidates to clients, coordinate interviews, negotiate salaries, and extend offers.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels of management, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Understand client hiring needs, customize recruitment strategies, and ensure long-term satisfaction through consistent communication and service.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with internal teams to align strategies with business development goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and contributing to the team's success.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on lead generation activities and sales initiatives to support business growth.
Networking & Market Engagement:
- Actively participate in networking events, industry conferences, and user groups to build relationships and drive new business.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of sales and business development experience in a consultative environment, preferably in staffing or recruitment.
- Proven track record in full desk recruitment or business development role with a focus on client relationship management.
- Experience working in the staffing space required.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high level of initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
