Overview:
Our client in the Galleria area of Houston is seeking a Workday Integration Manager to join their Talent (HR) team. This role requires a dedicated professional who is comfortable working in the office and is willing to commit to longer hours to support our operational needs.
You will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of HRIS and hands-on experience configuring the Workday system to support business processes. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to optimize system performance and ensure seamless integration with third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Workday HCM system expert, providing day-to-day support for business processes, integration, reporting, and dashboards to ensure high-quality operations.
- Collaborate with the Talent team and other stakeholders to define business requirements, implement, test, and deploy HCM modules and changes to business processes.
- Develop and enhance system reporting and analytics to help Talent partners identify trends and support leadership decision-making.
- Act as Security Administrator, managing security re-assignments, user access, permissions, and addressing security-related issues.
- Support and test system updates or upgrades in Workday.
- Identify system gaps and propose best practices or process improvements.
- Lead long-term improvement projects to ensure alignment with the company?s evolving business applications.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Workday integrations, including EIBs, Studio, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, Web Services (SOAP, REST), and Workday API configurations.
- Oversee the configuration, implementation, and optimization of Workday integrations to support HR, Payroll, Finance, and other business functions.
- Partner with HR, IT, and external vendors to analyze business requirements and develop scalable Workday solutions.
- Manage integration projects, including scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with security policies.
- Train and support end users, providing guidance on best practices for Workday integrations.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of HRIS experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Workday.
- Strong configuration knowledge in Workday modules, especially Recruiting, Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, and Performance Management.
- Expertise in Workday Reporting, including Advanced Reports, Matrix, composite reports, and calculated fields.
- Proficient in Workday security, compliance, and controls for effective management and maintenance of security roles.
