A modern fine-dining Chinese restaurant set to open in the heart of Beverly Hills, lead by a distinguished celebrity chef.
We are looking for an experienced FOH staff to join the opening team. Please specify the position you're applying for.
Servers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
- Flexible schedule - Willing and able to work shifts that may include late evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong wine and spirits knowledge
- Ability to work in an ever-changing environment both independently and in a team setting
- Strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and execute at a high level
- Ability to communicate effectively and eloquently
Server Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Upholding all standards based on company expectations
- Complete all assigned opening, and closing side work
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of all menu items, as well as daily specials. All members of the server team are responsible for being able to effectively describe each dish as well as the ingredients, preparation/techniques
- Setting table, table maintenance, and bussing tables; maintaining a clean, organized section and dining room at all times
- Maintain a graceful calm demeanor and excellence of work at all times regardless of the pace of service
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during, and after service
* RBS & Food Handlers Card is required for this position. Certifications must be obtained within 2 weeks upon hiring
Backwaiter/Runners
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years in an upscale dining establishment
- Barista experience
- Food and beverage knowledge
- Open availability
- Able to effectively communicate in English
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist server in preparing the dining room for guests before service
- maintaining table cleanliness by clearing plates, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses
- In constant communication with the server for any special needs
- Setting up, stocking and maintaining service stations
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service
- Delivery of dishes and being able to describe each dish as well as ingredients and preparation effectively
- All other duties assigned by kitchen and FOH manager
