We are looking for a talented and driven Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art RPD™ additive manufacturing facility in Plattsburgh, NY. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, working with cross-functional teams to revolutionize manufacturing processes.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineers to develop and optimize additive manufacturing techniques.
• Support the design, development, and production of components using advanced additive manufacturing methods.
• Contribute to cost estimates and part evaluations for exciting new projects.
• Partner with our internal stakeholders and industry experts to enhance Direct Energy Deposition (DED) applications.
• Troubleshoot, provide production support, and assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers.
• Engage in research and development, experiment with new processes, and analyze data to push the boundaries of what’s possible in additive manufacturing.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability, quality, and safety.

Who you are:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Sciences, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace, additive, or a DED startup.
• A foundational understanding of additive manufacturing principles and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
