Job Description:
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable practices, QA policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Making plans using detailed drawings
- Preparing estimates and budgets
- Creating accurate project specifications
- Designing engineering experiments
- Creating technical reports for customers
Demonstrate proficiency in various software including SolidWorks, IQMS, SharePoint, and Office applications
Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives as assigned
Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives as assigned
Recommend improvements to manufacturing methods including but not limited to safety, quality, and efficiency; working with Production Manager to implement sustained improvements
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations;
- Issue status reports to the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas;

Qualification Requirements

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one-year manufacturing experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of injection molding or ASQ certification is a plus.
Language Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to all employees of the organization. Ability to comprehend and comply with written and verbal procedures, instructions, and assignments. Ability to deal with situations involving several variables in standard manufacturing conditions. Ability to actively participate in group problem solving activities.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use ratios and percent. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
