Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify key milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Data Conversion and Integration

  • Coordinate the migration and integration of data and applications from legacy systems to the target environment.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout all stages of the migration process.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements and align on project objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of issues.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Vendor Management

  • Oversee vendor activities, including performance monitoring and contract compliance.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PMP certification is required; Scrum Master certification is a plus.


Experience

  • 10+ years of project and product management experience in healthcare IT.
  • Proven experience in data migration and system integrations, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated success in executing large-scale projects within diverse healthcare environments, including hospitals and clinics.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.


Technical Skills

  • Expertise in tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Project Plan.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), data interfaces (HL7), and healthcare-specific applications such as EHR, PACS, and Lab systems.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams across geographically distributed locations.
