Job Description: A reputable health network in New York is looking for a Nurse Manager to lead their Brooklyn location. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for running the daily operations, administrative tasks, staff management, and the needs of the clinic. This is a unique community-based health care program that provides comprehensive care to individuals living with chronic illnesses including HIV, behavioral health conditions, diabetes, and hypertension.

• Ensures that nursing practices are following regulatory standards, patient safety protocols are followed.

• Focused on budget management, staff development, performance improvement, and fostering a positive working environment.

• Develop staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

• Monitor program compliance and quality assurance.

• Lead the development and evaluation of individual and group level nursing interventions.

• Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

• Develop strategies to manage chronic conditions.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.

• Manage the daily operations including patient flow and resource allocation.

• Monitor the needs of the team, including supplies, equipment, and staffing needs.

• Implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications:

• New York Registered Nurse License.

• BSN required; MSN preferred.

• 5 years of Registered Nurse experience.

• Leadership experience.

• Familiarity with community health education.

• Bilingual is a plus.
