Job Description: A reputable health network in New York is looking for a Nurse Manager to lead their Adult Day Health Care Programs in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Your week will be split with different days at the two locations. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for running the daily operations, administrative tasks, staff management, and the needs of the clinic. This is a unique community-based health care program that provides comprehensive care to individuals living with chronic illnesses including HIV, behavioral health conditions, diabetes, and hypertension.


• Coordinate care between ADHC program and clients' primary care provider.

• Ensures that nursing practices are following regulatory standards and patient safety protocols are followed.

• Focused on budget management, staff development, performance improvement, and fostering a positive working environment.

• Develop staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

• Monitor program compliance and quality assurance.

• Lead the development and evaluation of individual and group level nursing interventions.

• Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

• Develop strategies to manage chronic conditions.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.

• Manage the daily operations including patient flow and resource allocation.

• Monitor the needs of the team, including supplies, equipment, and staffing needs.

• Implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.


Job Qualifications:

• New York Registered Nurse License.

• BSN required; MSN preferred.

• 5 years of Registered Nurse experience.

• Leadership experience.

• Familiarity with community health education.

• Bilingual is a plus.
