Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join our team on a contract to hire basis. This role is located in Henrico, VA, and offers a competitive pay rate of $23-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
- Coordinate with benefits providers and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees about their benefits options.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new benefits programs and policies.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the HR department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in benefits administration or a related HR role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits is a plus.
