Responsibilities Following are the day-to-day work activities:
- Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coaching: Mentor team members on SAFe, Scrum, and Agile best practices, specifically within the context of Guidewire.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment among team members and stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team performance metrics, such as burndown charts.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team.
- ART Coordination: Assist teams in coordinating and participating in Agile Release Train (ART) events.
- Guidewire Expertise: Leverage knowledge of the Guidewire platform to support and enhance development processes.
Requirements Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working as Scrum Master
- Technical Skills:
- Agile Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, and other Agile frameworks.
- Guidewire Knowledge: Experience with the Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, preferably within a SAFe environment and with Guidewire.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently
