*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities*
* Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
* Operate CT equipment with precision, ensuring high-quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care.
* Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in the field.
* Assist in training new staff members or students as needed.

*Qualifications*
* Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a focus on Computed Tomography (CT).
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and nuclear medicine is preferred.
* Experience in mammography, PET scans, sonography, or working in an ER or Level I Trauma Center is a plus.
* Familiarity with urgent care settings and various medical imaging modalities is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
