*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging, with expertise in performing CT scans and other diagnostic evaluations. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

*Duties*
* Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
* Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT, X-Ray, PET scan, and mammography machines.
* Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during all procedures.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
* Assist in the training of new staff or students in imaging protocols and safety practices.

*Qualifications*
* Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a focus on CT imaging.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy to accurately position patients for optimal imaging results.
* Experience in diagnostic evaluation techniques, including sonography when applicable.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment within a trauma center setting.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage patient records effectively.
