Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
Job Overview: As a
Manufacturing Supervisor , you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for overseeing our production team members, managing workflow, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are consistently met. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and lead the manufacturing team: Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team over a team of metal fabrication workers.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery of products.
- Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements. Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.
- Training and Development: Foster a culture of learning and development within the team. Provide training as needed to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience required.
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to metal work and metal fabrication.
- Exposure working with Unions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate proficiently verbally and through electronic media
