We are looking for a skilled MRI Technician in Long Island, New York, starting January 2025. The role involves performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team for accurate diagnostic imaging. Ideal candidates should have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, along with ARRT certification and strong interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technician to join our dynamic team in Long Island, New York, starting in January 2025. As an MRI Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and working closely with the radiologists and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic images. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders, ensuring high-quality imaging.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after the MRI procedure to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Review patient medical history and relevant information to ensure accurate imaging.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain and operate MRI equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and healthcare standards.
  • Ensure that images are clear, accurate, and meet diagnostic requirements.
  • Document patient information and scan details as required, maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and imaging outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate s degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or related field.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI (or ability to obtain).
  • State licensure in New York as an MRI Technologist.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to start by January 2025.
