Job Responsibilities of the FNP/PA:
Assess the physical and psychosocial health of patients through history-taking and physical examination.
Diagnose, manage, and appropriately refer patients with acute, chronic, or episodic conditions following established protocols.
Prescribe medications, treatments, and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical psychologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Minimum Job Requirements of the FNP/PA:
Education:
For FNP: Massachusetts Licensed Registered Nurse with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
For PA: Massachusetts licensure as a Physician Assistant.
Certification:
Current CPR/AED certification required.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
