Position Responsibilities:
* Supervise nursing staff during shifts and ensure performance evaluations are completed.
* Provide counseling and recommend discipline when needed.
* Oversee admissions, discharges, and ensure quality care during rounds.
* Address concerns raised by Veterans/Members and follow up on issues.
* Assist with direct care and complex nursing procedures.
* Guide staff on clinical issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Manage staff assignments, reassign or call in staff as needed.
* Participate in recruitment, training, and policy development.
* Respond to emergencies and assist in investigations of incidents.
* Manage inventory during off-hours and contribute to QAPI efforts.

Required Skills:
* Knowledge of skilled nursing care and geriatric nursing practices.
* Understanding of state, federal, and VA regulations.
* Strong leadership, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and decision-making abilities.

Experience & Education:
* 1+ year experience in a Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care facility.
* Active RN license in Arizona.

Additional Information:
* Position based in Yuma, AZ.
* Orientation: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
* Rotating shift schedule.

* Resume, Fingerprint Clearance, Background Check, CPR/BLS certification, TB test, Nursing License, Skills Checklist, Competency Tests.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $44.00 - $45.00 per hour
