Akkodis is hiring a Sr. Avionics Technician for a client in Moses Lake, WA. This is an onsite contract to hire position.
Pay Range: $25.00/hour to $36.00/ hour. The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
This role involves modifying, servicing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft avionics systems to ensure airworthiness. The ideal candidate will have experience in wiring practices, avionics troubleshooting, and aircraft systems maintenance while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, customer guidelines, and company policies. Oversees and co-signs for uncertified mechanics in accordance with the GPT RSM procedures.
Minimum three (3) years Avionics experience required.
Proficient with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual.
Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is a plus.
B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification is a plus.
Military or Boeing experience a plus.
Must possess your own tools.
