Investor Relations Associate

Role
We are recruiting an Investor Relations Associate. This role will report directly to the Director, Investor Engagement.
Primary Functions
Investor Documentation
Coordinate fund closings by working with counsel and fund administrators to ensure all investor documentation is accurate and complete.
Prepare and process required forms, including subscription documents, annual distribution forms, redemption forms, and other related documentation.
AML/KYC Compliance
Work closely with our fund administrator to ensure AML/KYC compliance among our limited partner base – this includes initial reviews for new investors as well as periodic reviews as required.
Support annual compliance processes for limited partners by assisting with document collection and reviews.
Systems Management
Set up and maintain investor records across internal and external systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Upload and organize documents and assist with communication workflows in systems.
Investor Requests: Respond to investor inquiries and ad hoc requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
Process Optimization: Work closely with Finance, Legal, Analytics, and Compliance teams to identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve IR processes.
Desired Experience, Skills and Attributes:
- IR Operations Knowledge: Prior experience or knowledge of investor relations operations, including familiarity with systems like Backstop and investor documentation processes, is desired but not a prerequisite.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present a professional demeanor on the phone, in writing, and in person.
- Analytical: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify connections, streamline processes and solve problems effectively. For example, recognizing when existing information can be reused to avoid unnecessary requests to investors.
- Organizational: Self-directed, highly organized, and proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions.
- Execution: Proven ability to execute and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Consistent focus on accuracy and detail, ensuring high-quality work in all tasks.
- Ownership & Integrity: Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and integrity in handling responsibilities and sensitive information.
