About the Role:
Are you a master storyteller who thrives on crafting impactful messaging? As a Communications Strategist at The Energy Authority (TEA), you'll develop and implement content strategies that drive engagement and align with TEA's mission, vision, and strategic initiatives. This role is at the intersection of content creation, brand management, and strategic communications , ensuring that TEA's messaging remains consistent, compelling, and effective across multiple platforms.
You'll work closely with leadership and subject matter experts to develop internal and external communications, support marketing efforts, and provide creative and administrative support for strategic projects. From editorial calendars to press releases, you'll shape TEA's voice and enhance its presence.
What You'll Do:
  • Strategic Content Development & Communication Planning:
    • Create and execute communications plans that promote corporate strategies.
    • Develop content for web, print, presentations, employee learning, and speaking engagements .
    • Research best practices, industry trends, and project needs to craft informed communication strategies.
  • Messaging & Brand Management:
    • Work collaboratively to collect, draft, and refine internal and external communications.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all messaging and content.
    • Provide copyediting services to refine materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and engagement.
  • Multi-Platform Content Creation & Distribution:
    • Develop content for various formats, including email communications, brochures, user guides, video scripts, intranet pages, press releases, and website copy .
    • Oversee the distribution of communications through multiple channels.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Engagement:
    • Build relationships across all levels of TEA to facilitate internal engagement and information flow .
    • Support change communications efforts , making recommendations for improving messaging strategies.
    • Monitor industry news and reports to keep TEA ahead of trends and best practices.
  • Corporate Culture & Awareness:
    • Support TEA staff in ensuring brand awareness, culture alignment, and strategic messaging.
    • Assist in onboarding materials, corporate bios, surveys, and other internal initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, organizational leadership, or related field .
    • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in content strategy, corporate communications, or marketing.
  • Key Skills:
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to craft engaging and strategic messaging for diverse audiences.
    • Experience managing brand voice and messaging consistency across platforms.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives.
    • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels .
