Job Summary of the Senior Business Development Executive :
This company is an industry leader in the technology rental sector, providing a diverse range of rentals for POS systems, event management, and IT solutions. Their services cater to a remarkable selection of industries and verticals, collaborating with companies like Square, Shopify, Eventbrite, and many more. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring occasional presence at the Pompton Lakes, NJ office as needed
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Business Development Executive:
  • Develop and implement strategies for cultivating leads, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the event, e-commerce platform, nonprofit, amusement/ recreation, festival, financial services, and government sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and partners event, e-commerce platform, nonprofit, amusement/ recreation, festival, financial services, and government sectors.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to close deals
  • Work closely with internal support teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position our offerings.
Requirements
Qualifications of the Senior Business Development Director:
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within event, e-commerce platform, nonprofit, amusement/ recreation, festival, financial services, and government sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
