Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  1. Data entry relating to Bill of Materials and routings. Will be familiar with the Company's manufacturing capabilities and products. Will need basic understanding of production capabilities, run rates and plant scheduling.
  2. Timely collection of all vendor Food Safety and other required documentation.
  3. Will provide necessary information for product exports as it relates to raw materials.
  4. Will assist Procurement team with Purchase Order entry, expediting, and confirmations.
  5. Will track and provide detailed information regarding packaging inventories, costs, weeks on hand for packaging with pending artwork changes, consolidation, or discontinuation.
  6. Will assist in monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and packaging based on open orders, active non-stock orders and forecasts to assist buyers in planning purchases.
  7. Will be an active member of the Supply Chain Team by participating in meetings and should be able to offer suggestions on enhancing the department's effectiveness.
  8. Will participate in special projects as needed by the department or delegated by the Supervisor - Demand Planning, Senior Manager - Resource Planning or the Director - Supply Chain
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills appropriate for the position.
  • Must have strong Excel and Word skills and be familiar with automated forecasting and inventory management systems.
