Under the Store Manager Supervision, the
SCAN COORDINATOR performs the following duties:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Review all e-mailed Manager's Reports from all stores- one store's scan issue is most likely affecting the entire company; take action for your store's discrepancies by researching the problems and reporting your findings to Host Operators and/or appropriate department manager or buyer
- Tag, apply, and audit all batches sent by Host Operators
- Apply, tag, audit and maintain all weekly ads, monthly ads, promos and manager's specials
- Act as communication liaison between all departments regarding scan issues (effective communicator)
- Run reports weekly and daily for store losses, donations, open-key, etc.
- Blue Chip Run (BCR) each department twice weekly at minimum
- Perform complete produce audits weekly and bulk audits bi-weekly
- Manage the deli scales
- Perform store audits during downtime
- Other duties assigned
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:
Training/Education:
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
Experience:
- Previous scan and/or receiving experience is a plus
Knowledge of:
- Customer service techniques
- Simple arithmetical calculations
Ability to
: - Read, comprehend and relate product knowledge to customers in an understandable manner
- Work in an accurate manner in a fast-paced environment
- Order, stock, face and price conduct
- Work in a team with those contacted in the course of work
- Assist customers promptly
- Communicate orally and in writing with supervisors, co-workers and customers
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: - Lift individual product, maximum weight 50 lbs., 6" to 48"
- Carry product 3-10 ft. maximum distance 50 ft.
- Push/pull some product, usually light product weighing less than 3 lbs.
Special Requirements: - Must be available to work various shifts as needed
