Job Summary The Logistics Technician is responsible for supporting production operations through administrative, sanitation, and logistics tasks.
This role involves applying training and skills to complete various responsibilities that aid production while maintaining a clean work environment.
Additionally, the Logistics Technician provides training to others on operational techniques and skills.
Key Responsibilities - Perform operations in compliance with established work instructions.
- Complete production logistics tasks, including moving materials and updating information in production systems.
- Execute building sanitation tasks to ensure a clean work environment.
- Prepare materials for operational and logistical tasks.
- Interface with plant systems, such as document control and manufacturing execution systems.
- Communicate effectively and update or maintain necessary records.
- Train team members on responsibilities, techniques, and operational skills.
- Perform other production support responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2+ years of work experience in a relevant field.
- Applicable experience in a transferable field (e.g., shipping, warehouse) is desired but not required.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
