Job Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk I is responsible for receiving and logging shipments into the inventory system, coordinating distribution requests with the project support team, and preparing paperwork and labels for domestic and international shipments.
This role requires effective organization, the ability to navigate inventory and shipping systems, and excellent customer service skills in responding to inquiries and fielding requests.
Key Responsibilities: - Receive and log shipments into the inventory database accurately.
- Partner with the project support team to coordinate and fulfill distribution requests.
- Retrieve items from inventory to prepare for distribution.
- Prepare and print paperwork corresponding to distribution needs.
- Create shipping labels for domestic and international shipments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, updating supplies as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries and field requests efficiently.
- Navigate and utilize online inventory and shipping systems.
Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED.
- 0-1 years of experience in shipping operations.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Reliable mode of transportation.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Smartsheet data entry.
- Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
