Our client, a mission-driven startup dedicated to creating economic opportunities in Africa by building high-performing remote teams for major tech and media companies, is seeking a dynamic enterprise sales professional. They specialize in customer support, digital operations, AI solutions, and trust & safety. This is an opportunity for a talented salesperson who shares our client's vision of transforming the outsourcing industry to reap benefits for global communities, particularly in Africa, by winning new enterprise accounts.

This role represents the first enterprise-focused sales position and will work closely with the CEO and founding team. With a focus on data, AI, and digital operations, a deep understanding of the data and AI sectors, alongside a proven track record in securing enterprise-level contracts (valued over $1m), will be crucial for success. You will manage the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals, with significant potential for advancement as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key enterprise clients, understanding their business needs and evolving challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts, proposing new services that align with client objectives.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan designed to meet revenue targets, with a strong emphasis on AI and digital operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and proactively provide clients with recommendations based on market developments.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a demonstrated ability to sell to large tech companies, preferably in BPO, AI, or digital operations.
  • Deep understanding of AI, digital transformation, and customer support functions.
  • Proven success in closing enterprise-level deals (above $1m) and managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, capable of elucidating complex solutions.
  • Existing connections within the tech community and experience engaging with senior decision-makers.
