Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Community Association practice in Coral Gables, FL.

This full-time, on-site role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in community association and condominium law

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to two lawyers specializing in community association law
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments
  • Draft legal documents including letters, meeting packages, amendments, and agreements
  • Interact professionally with potential and existing clients
  • Process attorney expense reports and register CLE credits with the Florida Bar
  • Maintain organized files using document management systems (PerfectLaw DMS)
  • Perform legal research when requested
  • Ensure timely filing of legal documents

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant, with experience in community association law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of PerfectLaw DMS
  • Bachelor's degree or certification as a legal assistant
  • Experience with online court filing systems
