Bridges is a critically acclaimed restaurant located in Chinatown. Led by alums of estela and NoMad, the cuisine is French and Basque inspried alongside a wine list featuring classic regions as well as up and coming, exciting ones from around the world.

We are currently seeking a Dining Room Manager to join our close-knit management team. Ideal candidates are natural, charismatic leaders who demonstrate a genuine interest  in making others feel good. This is a unique opportunity to join a restaurant still in it's early stages alongside industry veterans and be a part of the shaping and formation of a restaurants service and culture.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervision of all employees and act as a standard bearer for the values and overall restaurant vision of the owners
• Opening duties, including but not limited to: leading pre-shift meetings, liaising with the kitchen to stay informed on menu changes and service notes, adjusting staffing according to cover counts and spread of reservations, ensuring service staff and dining room are prepared for service.
• Directing the flow of service, providing direction and delegating responsibilities, running food and beverages, and communicating with the kitchen and door teams. 
• Addressing technical or facilities issues as they arise. 
• Troubleshooting any guest or reservation issues.
• Closing duties, including: recording staff tips and hours, reconciling cash, writing end of night recap, checking service team closing duties and performing a final walkthrough of the restaurant.
• Effectively communicating guest feedback to the management team and participating in any necessary follow-up with guests.
• Assist with hiring, training and education of front-of-house staff.
• Motivating and leading staff to perform at the highest possible level

Qualified candidates will have:

• 2+ years of management experience in a reputable New York city restaurant
• Longevity in past positions
• The ability to communicate effectively and articulately
• Genuine curiousity and knowledge of food & beverage
• Consistent display of emotional and social intelligence; exhibits maturity and
  self-awareness
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Google Workspace suite
