The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale construction projects, specifically in earthwork, grading, excavation, and highway construction. This role requires an individual who is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the Permanent Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all project-related issues and will be responsible for coordinating all project activities from conception to completion. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
2. Manage and supervise the work of project teams including architects, engineers, laborers, and subcontractors.
3. Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.
5. Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
6. Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
7. Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
8. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
9. Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects involving earthwork, grading, excavation, and highway construction.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in project management software.
7. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
