Our Kforce client, a leading provider in the behavioral sciences industry is seeking to hire a Senior Tax Manager to join their firm in Boston, (MA). Duties:Senior Tax Manager will oversee the preparation and filing of all federal, state and local tax returns, sales and use tax and property tax filingsOversee the proper recording and reporting of M&A activities for tax purposesWork closely with finance, accounting and legal teams to ensure integrated tax strategiesDeveloping tax strategiesProvide guidance on tax-related mattersAs a Senior Tax Manager, you will prepare documentation and support for auditsStay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the firmConduct research on complex tax issuesSupervise and mentor junior tax teamRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldM&A tax experience is requiredSoftware package proficiency in Microsoft Office, Great PlainsOracle, Oracle PBCS and other accounting software experience will be welcomedExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulationsExceptional understanding of tax law, regulations, and accounting principlesStrong leadership and communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to handle multiple projects and deadlinesLegal experience is a plusWe offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.
