This role will be Hybrid (Monday to Thursday in the office and Friday remote) either in Salt Lake City, Utah or Dallas, Texas.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDefine and execute the company's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with business objectives.Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.Drive innovation and scalability across all technology initiatives.Team Leadership and DevelopmentBuild and manage a high-performing engineering team, attracting top talent and fostering professional growth.Create a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes innovation and continuous learning.Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members.Software Development and DeliveryOversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of scalable and robust solutions.Collaborate with product management to translate business needs into actionable development plans.Implement engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.Technical Architecture and InfrastructureDefine and maintain the company's technical architecture to ensure security, scalability, and reliability.Evaluate and integrate new tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and innovation.Monitor and optimize system performance, proactively addressing bottlenecks and technical challenges.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with product, design, and other departments to ensure alignment on goals and seamless execution.Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate insights into product development.Operational ExcellenceDrive DevOps practices to ensure efficient deployment and system reliability.Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize risks and downtime.Monitor software quality and ensure adherence to rigorous testing and QA standards.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
