About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the global representative and leader of its export promotion arm. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all personnel and programs across over 40 countries, with a focus on promoting U.S. cotton and value-added cotton products. This role requires a dynamic and energetic individual with excellent public speaking skills, as the Executive Director will be the face and voice of the U.S. cotton industry, making presentations at various events and networking with industry leaders worldwide. The Executive Director will also be tasked with strategic development, financial oversight, and grant management, including leading the annual grant application process and ensuring compliance with government regulations.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have at least 15 years' of experience in a relevant field, with a proven track record of leading global teams and managing budgets of at least $25 million. The role demands a highly organized, flexible, and committed team player with a strong understanding of the textile industry and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and must be adept at managing and prioritizing multiple projects. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with a diverse, global team are essential. The Executive Director will also be responsible for driving industry fundraising efforts, overseeing the development of the organization's strategic plan, and ensuring the success of over 35 global events annually.
