About the Role

The Company is in search of an experienced Principal to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key figure in managing both the investment and operational aspects of the fund, playing a pivotal role in shaping the investment strategy. This includes strategic planning, team formation, investment decisions, fundraising, portfolio support, and nurturing investor relationships. The Principal will also be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and management of a team, fostering a collaborative work environment, and developing a continuity strategy for follow-on investments. Risk management and compliance are also integral parts of the role.Applicants for the Principal position should have a minimum of 5 years experience in fund operations, fundraising, thesis development, investor relations, or investing, with a proven track record of raising capital. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and excellent communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in managing global programs, leading teams, and a network in institutional investing. The role demands a self-starting individual with a deep understanding of the venture capital landscape and a passion for working with early-stage founders to help them scale their companies.
