Job Description:You will play a pivotal role in our Commercial Real Estate or Estate Planning practice areas. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Real Estate Associate
1. Conduct legal research and due diligence related to commercial real estate transactions.
2. Draft and review legal documents, contracts, leases, and agreements.
3. Provide legal counsel to clients on real estate acquisition, development, financing, and leasing matters.
4. Negotiate and facilitate real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements.
5. Represent clients in real estate litigation when necessary.
6. Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies and provide mentorship to junior associates.
Estate Planning Associate
1. Collaborate with clients to assess their estate planning needs and goals.
2. Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
3. Provide legal advice on tax planning, wealth preservation, and asset distribution.
4. Assist clients in the administration of estates, including probate and trust administration.
5. Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
6. Work closely with senior attorneys to develop customized estate plans and mentor junior associates.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active license to practice law in the state of Illinois.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate or estate planning law (experience in Orland Park, IL, preferred).
4. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
