Associate Attorney for Toxic Tort/Product Liability Practice Group
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our Toxic Tort/Product Liability practice group in our Chicago office.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A current, active license to practice law in Illinois;
- At least 2 years of experience in civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, written discovery, motions, and other related litigation documents;
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills;
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce high-quality work;
- A willingness to be proactive and take ownership of projects and assignments;
- Experience handling mediations/arbitrations is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned caseload, including drafting pleadings, written discovery, motions, and other related litigation documents;
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development and strategy;
- Take and defend depositions, as well as prepare clients and/or insurance carriers for testimony;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations, as well as industry trends and developments.
Requirements
- Current, active license to practice law in Illinois (dual licensure with surrounding states desirable);
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in civil litigation;
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills;
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce high-quality work;
