This is a full-time on-site role for an entry level (0-3 years) Associate Attorney at Guercio & Guercio, LLP located in Farmingdale, NY. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, assisting with negotiating with bargaining units, assisting with active cases in state and federal court, including personal injury, Freedom of Information Law, and Child Victims Act cases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in legal research
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar
• Experience with representing schools, educational institutions, or local governments is a plus
• Experience with special education law is a plus

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
