You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to clients. You'll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. You will be responsible for an assigned caseload and will work closely with a senior attorney and a paralegal. If you have at least 1 year of Plaintiff's Personal Injury experience, including but not limited to drafting pleadings, motions, oppositions and defending Plaintiff's depositions, and are seeking a full-time opportunity to practice law with plenty of room for growth, start your application today!
Responsibilities
•Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
•Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
•Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
Qualifications
•Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
•Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
•Candidates must have passed the bar exam
•Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
•Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
