Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Billing Specialist to join our team in the Automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Automotive Industry and possess strong numeric data entry and 10 key data entry skills. The candidate should also have experience as a Billing Clerk and be proficient in Excel and accounting. An associates degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and review invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Process and reconcile customer payments
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing discrepancies or issues
• Monitor and track outstanding customer balances
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payment
• Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions and customer communications
• Assist with month-end closing procedures
• Continuously evaluate and improve billing processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role
• Experience in the Automotive Industry
• Proficiency in numeric data entry and 10 key data entry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Associates degree in a related field preferred
