Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our internal Bizerba weigh price labeling system. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Bizerba hardware and software solutions, including system configuration, calibration, and repair. This role will be critical to ensuring our production lines operate efficiently and comply with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration:Install and configure Bizerba weigh price labeling systems, ensuring compatibility with existing production lines.Set up and calibrate scales, label printers, and related peripherals.System Maintenance:Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the Bizerba system.Replace worn-out parts, clean components, and update software as needed.Troubleshooting and Repairs:Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, minimizing downtime on the production floor.Provide emergency repairs and work with production teams to prioritize issues.Upgrades and Optimization:Recommend and implement system upgrades or adjustments to improve performance and efficiency.Collaborate with IT and production teams to integrate Bizerba solutions with other systems.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate service logs, including details of repairs, replacements, and system updates.Provide regular reports to the IT Manager on system performance and maintenance schedules.Training and Support:Train production staff on proper use and basic troubleshooting of the Bizerba system.Serve as a point of contact for escalated system issues.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting Bizerba hardware and software solutions.Strong understanding of scales, label printers, and industrial automation.Familiarity with integrating Bizerba systems with ERP or production software is a plus.
