The ideal candidate will possess substantive experience in contentious and transactional aspects of employment law and strong academic and writing credentials.Duties:Represent clients in employment litigation cases, including arbitration and trial proceedings.Draft, review, and negotiate employer policies, agreements, and other legal documents.Prepare and file position statements with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH).Conduct witness interviews and depositions and gather evidence for litigation.Counsel clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws.Develop and draft workplace policies and procedures.Assist clients in designing and implementing employment training programs.Stay updated on recent legal developments and best practices in employment law.Requirements:Minimum of 4 years of substantive experience in employment litigation.Experience with arbitration and trial work.Meaningful experience in transactional employment, including policy drafting and compliance counseling.Experience drafting EEOC position statements and DFEH responses.Demonstrated ability in conducting witness interviews and depositions.Superior academic and writing credentials.California Bar admission is required.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California Bar.Skills:Strong litigation and trial skills.Proficient in drafting and negotiating employment-related documents.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.Detailed understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
