Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday

Position Overview:
As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will deliver client-focused clinical services, helping individuals navigate their recovery journey. Your role includes facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with clinical and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate clients' behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs and collaborate with the treatment team on progress toward goals.
Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions while ensuring a positive therapeutic environment.
Document client engagement and clinical services in the Electronic Clinical Record (ECR) per program policy.
Provide support for utilization review (UR) processes and aftercare planning.
Participate in curriculum development, training, and program improvement initiatives.
Conduct Level of Care Assessments and participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.
Complete required training and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Master's Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling with licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or certification (CAADC).
Master's Degree with ongoing progress toward licensure or certification.
Bachelor's Degree with CADC or progress toward CADC and at least one year of clinical experience.
High School Diploma with CAAC.
Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited school and one year of clinical experience.
