Social Worker
StartDate: 3/17/2025 Pay Rate: $1800.00 - $2600.00

POSITION SUMMARY – Social Worker – Adult Behavioral Health

POSITION DUTIES – Provide crisis intervention and intensive case management services to adults with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders who are 18 years of age and older and are at risk for psychiatric hospitalization, those who have already been admitted to inpatient psychiatric facilities and those who have demonstrated a high risk for readmission or repeated use of emergency psychiatric services.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

Masters' degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure.
LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC or LLP. Candidates without a state license can be considered but must obtain state licensure within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
1+ year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with adults who have been diagnosed with serious mental illnesses.
Ability to engage adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders, their families and supporters.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – Permanent Position

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – Mon-Thur 8:30 am to 7 pm, Fri 8:30 am to 5 pm and Sat 9 am to 1 pm.
