Our fast-paced culture is a great fit for anyone looking to create impact globally while working with high caliber team members.This position will be based in our Chicago, IL office.The RoleAs Sales Director, you will drive results that significantly impact the firm’s growth and bottom line. You’ll apply strategic thinking and complex problem solving while engaging the highest level decision makers across higher education institutions globally.A successful candidate for this role must be driven to overachieve sales targets, rapidly immerse themselves in understanding the market, navigate complex sales processes and manage a pipeline with both discipline and attention to detail.You will participate in conferences, build relationships, set and deliver meetings with decision makers, pitching and addressing objections.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLearn our industry, the challenges our partners face and every aspect of our product offerings.Research and collect business intelligence on companies, colleges and universities, leads, and qualified potential customers.Secure meetings with key decision makers.Work closely with Sales and other members of the Leadership Team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes.Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly attainment.Travel domestically and internationally for in-person meetings and events.Be the pipeline driving a thriving business!Lead meetings with creative and tailored approaches to address the needs of specific prospects.Find creative and innovative ways to get prospects' attention.QualificationsKnowledge of higher education market.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Rapid learner.Creative and high energy.Passion for sales and selling results.Highly driven individual who can work very independently.Committed to learning and growing.You will be joining an exciting startup culture with an intense focus on growth while also having fun.
