*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our contract team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients across various settings, including clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics and geriatrics, demonstrating a strong understanding of care plans and the ability to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
* Provide direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on improving daily living skills.
* Conduct therapy sessions that may include activities for fine motor skills, sensory integration, and mobility enhancement.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans based on patient progress.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
* Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients during therapy sessions.

*Requirements*
* Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
* Experience working in home health settings.
* Experience with Oasis E required
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
* Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
* CA License, CLS required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,050.00 per week
