A prestigious law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong background in pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings. This position involves drafting legal documents, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients in a variety of legal settings. The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced attorneys, handle complex legal issues, and maintain excellent client relationships.Location:Duties:Represent clients throughout all phases of civil litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedingsDraft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice on complex mattersPrepare for and represent clients at court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsCollaborate with partners and other associates to address legal challengesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trendsFoster and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and supportRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Hawaii State Bar2-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in civil casesStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectivelyCommitment to providing outstanding client service and upholding the highest ethical standardsExpected billable hours: 1,650 (flexibility may be considered for the right candidate)Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the Hawaii State BarSkills:Expertise in civil litigation and legal researchProficient in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motionsStrong communication and presentation skills for court hearings and client interactionsAbility to manage complex cases and meet deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
