Volt is hiring for an on-site Billing Clerk/Specialist in Burbank, CA.
As a Billing Clerk/Specialist you will:
Be responsible for managing the billing process for the Post Production Engineering teams, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for all services rendered. This role involves creating work orders in Scheduall, verifying charge numbers, and ensuring comprehensive billing to maximize cost recovery. Additionally, the Billing Clerk/Specialist will provide backup support for other billing specialists and perform various tasks as required.
• Create Work Orders in Scheduall
• Generate and manage work orders using the Scheduall system.
• Ensure all work orders are accurately created and updated promptly.
• Validate Charge Numbers
• Check and confirm charge numbers for all services and products billed.
• Ensure correct allocation of charges to the appropriate accounts.
• Ensure Efficient Cost Recovery
• Capture all billable items to maximize cost recovery
• Review and reconcile billing discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Provide Backup Support
• Assist and cover for other billing clerks/specialists during absences or high workload periods
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and consistent billing practices
Other Tasks as Required:
• Perform various administrative and clerical tasks related to billing and invoicing.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
This is a full-time,24-month on-site contract opportunity in Burbank, CA.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 1-2 years’ experience - someone that is willing to learn
• Experience with the Scheduall system or similar billing software is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Disney experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Work Environment
• This role is predominantly office-based with standard working hours.
• Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
Pay Rate: $22.95/hr
