Requirements: 2+ Years of Med Surg Experience - Required Experience floating to ICU OR PCU - Required ACLS (AHA) & BLS (AHA) - Required Covid Vaccine - Required, exemptions allowed Job description: Under the supervision of the unit Supervisor/Manager/Director, the Registered Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while ensuring compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. Responsibilities include patient education, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining infection control and safety protocols, and promoting patient independence. The RN documents and communicates patient needs, provides emotional and psychological support, and ensures continuity of care. Additionally, they participate in ongoing education, hospital committees, and quality improvement initiatives while demonstrating leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to patient safety and hospital values. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
