Direct Counsel is seeking a senior-level employment associate with at least seven years of experience to join a highly regarded firm in California. This role focuses on employment litigation, particularly class actions and PAGA matters, with some single-plaintiff cases.
Responsibilities

• Handle complex employment litigation matters, including class actions and PAGA cases
• Provide strategic counsel on federal and California employment laws and regulations
• Work with clients across various industries to manage employment-related disputes
• Collaborate with a dynamic team on high-level employment defense matters

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of employment litigation experience
• Strong background in class actions, PAGA matters, and employment law compliance
• Experience at a large defense firm or a boutique firm handling sophisticated employment defense cases
• Admission to the California State Bar or pending admission
