Primary Function

The successful candidate for this job will be an experienced sales professional that has had demonstrated success in developing opportunities and managing them effectively through the sales process to closure. A business acumen that is focused on creating value and return on investment and a deep knowledge of the market opportunity in the HPC storage and/or the Enterprise HPC storage market is vital. This individual will be responsible for developing sales and revenue growth opportunities within the United States, primarily within the West Coast.

The successful candidate will be expected to execute on the following:

New account development as well as growth of existing customers within the energy market in the Americas.

Develop sales strategies and close working relationships with HPC OEMs and reseller/channel partners that sell into the energy market, including identification of new customer opportunities and to drive adoption of VDURA offerings within the West Coast Americas.

Achieve both quarterly and annual sales targets.

Work effectively with Sales Engineering colleagues to gain a deeper understanding of customer and prospective customer technical challenges and requirements and to successfully position company solutions and achieve early design wins to drive revenue and market share.

If you have experience with companies such as DDN, IBM, Lenovo, Kalray, Pure Storage, or VAST Data, we would like to talk with you about this exciting opportunity.

Requirements

4-year college degree.

10+ years of successful professional sales experience, understanding customers' needs and business drivers, handling objections, properly positioning products, and demonstrated ability to close opportunities and drive revenue growth. A strong track record of achieving revenue and quota targets is a must.

10+ years of successful HPC storage, storage software, or enterprise HPC storage experience in the energy market, including a thorough understanding of the dynamics driving decisions and value in HPC and Storage customers.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong presentation skills.

Strong operational and teamwork skills and innovative problem-solving skills.

Experience with remote team configurations for sales and support.

Base Salary:

$150,000.00 - $170,000.00 DOE

On-Target Earnings:

$300,000.00 - $320,000.00
